**Overview**
The **_Baggage Agent_** provides support to the Baggage Service Office and ensures Baggage Service Agents effectively assist customers with delayed, damaged or pilfered baggage.
**Salary - $16.15/ per hour**

**Basic Qualifications:**
Must be 18 years of age or older
No prior experience required and on-the-job training provided
No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
**Preferred Qualifications:**
One (1) year of prior work experience preferred
**Responsibilities:**
Determine flight departure times and connecting carriers based on customer tickets
Screen all passengers transferring between airlines prior to placing baggage on the return belts
Ensure baggage tags are correct
Direct and assist passengers with short-checked bags
Handles misplace or lost baggage claims and provide reports to carriers
Evaluate customers' needs concerning airline locations
A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
