Job Title: Production Worker

Work Location: Next Gen Supply Group, 11 Norfolk St, Mansfield MA 02048

Schedule (for hourly roles): 40 hours per week, 6 to 2pm but can be adjusted

Position Overview

Mainly function as a production associate to fill and package chemicals and solutions. This involves inventory reporting, package preparation, packaging, machine cleaning and preventive maintenance. Involves direct work with batch maker and labeler for scheduled and expedited work. The use of a forklift use will be required but can be taught. Secondary function is as a backup to the batchmaker and labeller. Supporting these job functions when either of these persons is out.

Responsibilities Include

• Promptness
• Able to handle 50 pound filled pails and 450 lbs drums to transport or move.
• Perform physically demanding work such as hammering pail heads onto 50 gal pails.
• Independently fill containers using partially mechanized machines such as pints, quarts, gallons, drums and totes.
• This is a team position that requires supporting communication, direction and actions.
• Provide sales with support in timely product distribution.
• Overtime is available. Particular in the May through August time frame.

• The ability to follow directions and being able to work independently but still part of the team.
• The desire and ability to do physical routine labor.
• Mechanical aptitude in dealing with the chemical process and equipment.
• Understanding of safety measures involved and the implementation of these measures.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to do other work in the warehouse and service dept. as needed.
• Computer skills to print and label containers when needed.
