Adecco is assisting a customer in North Kingstown, RI who is recruiting for a Warehouse Associate. The rate of pay for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr depending on experience. This is a day shift temporary opportunity with flexibility for part time to full time hours. The employee will need to be able to be detail orientated. A good candidate will work well independently and in teams with other employees.ResponsibilitiesTake wood crating off pallets, unload material on the pallets, and accurately put material away in the documented locationsFully read and understand the work order documents to pick, pull, pack itemsFind inventory based on the warehouse location and gather supplies needed to fulfill the orderUse hand tools and equipment necessary to complete the work orderMaintain timing of orders to ensure the jobs are completed by the due dateQuality check the material being handled based on work order documentsMove, handle, and store materials by use of warehouse equipment. Such as; pallet jacks, wrapping machines, strapping equipment, bailers, etc.Work as a productive member of the warehouse teamEnsure safe use equipment, tools, and work in an ergonomic mannerGeneral cleaning and tidiness of all aspects of the warehouseFollow all procedures and abide by the employee handbookAssist with general warehouse activities, as neededSkillsUnderstanding of inventory controlGeneral hand tool skillsBasic math skills for inventory counts and master case packingAbility to be trained, coordinate, and communicate effectivelyPractice standard safety requirements, company specific safety training will be providedRequirementsAbility to lift and co-lift materialHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentBenefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401k plan.
