Night + Weekend availability is required for this position.ResponsibilitiesProperly stand at attention at the hotel entrance.Open doors greeting guests with a smile and friendly comment as they enter and exit the hotel.Greet arriving vehicles, assisting guests with luggage and directing them to the front desk or other areas as required.Valet guest cars ensuring that guest car and keys are safe and secure.Assist guests with directions and information about the property as required.Assist departing guests with transportation as requested.Retrieve valet vehicles efficiently, assisting guests into the vehicle and loading luggage as required.Assist Door Attendant in monitoring traffic in the porte cochere.Ensure the porte cochere is clean of litter, water, oil, and other unacceptable items.Perform duties as required in related positions and be familiar with all procedures.Handle or refer guest requests and complaints diplomatically.Ensure safety or security-related procedures are implemented and report any possible situations immediately.QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.Valid driver's license for the applicable state.At least two years of driving experience preferred.Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently.Ability to stand during the entire shift.Valid driver license with a clean driver's abstract and able to drive both standard and automatic vehicles.Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.Perform other duties as requested by management.
