This opportunity will belocated in Warren, Rhode Island.

Position Summary
The Shipping & Assembly Associate will befocused on Kitting and Assembly. Thisrole is responsible for collecting product from several stock locations andstaging product per the work order for inspection, as well as the finalassembly of the product, laser marking, and product testing. This position alsosupports several areas of manufacturing, including but not limited to;inventory management, and shipping.

Essential Functions:
- Read and understandproduct drawings, work order instructions, product traceability and processinstructions to understand customer specifications for assembly and testing ofcomponents
- Responsible to follow all processinstructions per training and instruction by Manager and/or Department Lead
- Verifying components for count, quantityand revision
- Pick/pull finished product from severalstock locations and stage product for quality inspection
- Sets up and operates the laser markmachine, following the part marking instructions. Understands product drawingsand its relationship to laser marking the product.
- Assembles quality components manually thatmeet customer specifications and deadlines
- Completes carbons soak operation
- Performs product testing, such as pressureor vacuum. Submits test report to quality inspection
- Clean, label, and package components perproduct specifications and work order instructions
- Seals products using various heat sealingmachines
- Performs final packaging of all outgoingcustomer orders in accordance with customer specifications and instructions
- Prepares in-process product to be shippedfor an outside service
- Ensures own production conforms torequirements of quality and the production schedule
- Follows approved procedures to complete alltasks.
- Maintains work area in a clean, repairedand organized manner before, during, and after each scheduled shift inaccordance with 5S principles, company procedures, rules, and regulations
- Notifies manager and other personnel ofproblems, and assists in identifying and correcting these problems.
- Perform basic visual quality inspections onproducts
- Ability to work additional time as businessneeds dictate
- Perform other duties as required

- Direct technical skills in reference to theprocesses and/or equipment in the cell

- Possess strong self-motivation, drive andtakes initiative to reach goals and target assignments

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
-Must be a US citizen or a US permanent resident.
-Must be local to the Rhode Island/Massachusetts area.
-At least one year of prior manufacturing experience is required.
-Must have the ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively inEnglish and respond to questions from various levels within the organization.
-Regular and predictable attendance.
-Flexibility based on changing production/shipment demands
-Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication anddivision
-Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
-Work and interact well with others
-Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
-Maintain the production pace of other team members

Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand constantly.
- Able to walk frequently.
- Must be able to bend, squat and kneelfrequently.
- Able to handle and grasp tools/equipmentand products repetitively.
- Finger dexterity to rotate partsconstantly.
- Must be able to push/pull up to 10 lbs.constantly.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbsoccasionally.
- Visual Acuity - Able to see close detail,distance and colors constantly.
- Able to wear required Personal ProtectiveEquipment constantly.
- Work environment: Shop atmosphere, open floor space, noisy attimes, climate controlled.
