What we need:

Natco is seeking an experienced Purchasing and Replenishment Manager to join our Purchasing & Supply Chain Team. This is a hybrid position based out of our West Warwick, RI corporate headquarters. The primary function of this role is to oversee and manage the entire process of acquiring goods and supplies for the company under the guidance of the Chief Operating Officer. This role will lead a purchasing team to identify and procure materials and finished goods inventory from foreign suppliers, review and track inventory levels, and make recommendations for replenishments.

What you'll do:

• Lead the Purchasing team and provide guidance to improve workflow and standard operations
• Manage a high volume of purchase orders to ensure sufficient supply levels
• Create and review new order reports to assess shortages and inventory levels
• Forecast demand and adjust production where appropriate, providing updates to the sales team on forecasting and stock levels
• Check in with the Purchasing and Replenishment team on outstanding order or inventory issues
• Collaborate with the Logistics team to plan quantities and inventory levels based upon supplier guidelines and transit lead times
• Research and evaluate production and transit lead times per factory and quality standards
• Analyze customer setups and collaborate with the Product Development team to confirm quality specifications and costing
• Review replenishment for each warehouse by vendor or customer; reviewing all lines of business monthly
• Ensure that the customers and factories have the necessary information, supplies, and materials to keep operations running smoothly
• Ensure that all necessary supplies are available to support the business operations including ordering, storing, and delivering to the right location as well as meeting minimum quantities for multiple warehouses and direct customers
• Communicate with the warehouse on arrivals and inventory
• Perform all other projects or duties as directed by the Chief Operating Officer

What you'll have:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of supply chain, procurement, or related field experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook; expert in Excel
• Strong math skills and cubic measurement knowledge
• Knowledge of MRP/SAP systems preferred
• Knowledge of logistics preferred
• Knowledge of imports as well as domestic and overseas manufacturing preferred
