Our client, a global manufacturing technology solutions provider, is seeking an Applications Engineer to join their team. As an Applications Engineer, you will be part of the Product Engineering team supporting Manufacturing and Engineering. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer interfacing skills, strong application engineering skills and the ability to transfer skills to others to align successfully in the organization. This position requires 70% travel to customer sites and is a combination of sales support and hands-on application and product engineering work. Position comes with overtime and full benefits. Potentially contract to direct hire.

Job Title: Applications Engineer

Location: North Kingstown, RI

Pay: $35-$45/hr+ DOE plus OT and benefits

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct hardware and software product demonstrations for customers.
2. Communicate product benefits for complex applications effectively.
3. Prepare operating instructions and conduct training programs.
4. Develop and optimize programs/applications to meet customer specifications.
5. Provide technical support and maintain positive customer relationships.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree preferred in an Engineering discipline, Mathematics, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
2. 3-5 years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or similar environment.
3. Quality Inspection Experience.
4. PC-DMIS experience highly desired.
5. Ability to travel up to 70%.
