Role Summary:

At Smartaira, we thrive when our people thrive. The Infrastructure Design Manager will take ownership of the entire infrastructure design process. They will also organize, manage, and allocate resources to complete the infrastructure design process. We rely on our associates for flexibility and foresight while maintaining confidentiality related to high-level systems and operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with an interdepartmental team to assign necessary resources to complete assigned design projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outline and manage the Infrastructure Design Team workload and associated timelines involved in completing preliminary and pre-construction designs and documentation.
  • Review and approve infrastructure designs and budgeted costs.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to prepare and implement infrastructure and build-out budget based on estimates and designs.
  • Conduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
  • Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the design process.
  • Provide regular feedback and support to the infrastructure design team.
  • Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Other directives as required.

Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, which may include Business, Project Management, or Communications.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional telephone protocol and high degree of professionalism.
  • Energetic, upbeat, outgoing, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when required.
