Job Purpose

The Maintenance Director oversees the maintenance of the facility and equipment, including preventive maintenance and urgent repairs. Provides counsel to management regarding facility issues.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
• Must carry a beeper and respond to maintenance calls.
• Ability to read and write clearly to follow instructions.
• Neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of personnel, department, and facility policies.
• Ability to turn off main power, water, and gas supplies to the facility.
• Attention to small details in equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and adherence to policies and procedures.

Supervision of Others

Supervises staff members in maintenance and groundskeeping.
