SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter will be responsible for owning and managing the ongoing recruitment and selection of qualified talent for open positions. The Recruiter will drive creative sourcing strategies to identify the most qualified candidates and work with hiring managers at Brown University Health to represent job opportunities in the marketplace. They will also build relationships with educational institutions and programs (e.g., with various universities, colleges, and training programs) to educate and engage students/graduates in Brown University Health opportunities and cultivate talent pipelines at key schools.

This is a hybrid role.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
- One or more years of recruiting experience required. Additional related experience for specialized roles.
- Ability to accurately interpret and apply policies, procedures, and laws related to employment activities.
- Clear sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task. Proven track record of success recruiting hard-to-fill positions quickly.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills essential.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively in sensitive and confidential issues by telephone, in writing, and face-to-face with the public and associates at all levels of Brown University Health.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and continually assess the effectiveness of recruiting strategies for industry-related professional positions.
- Manage and own the end-to-end process of selection and placement of qualified candidates.
- Coach hiring managers on clarifying job requirements, interview skills, hiring trends, and recruiting tools.
- Partner with hiring managers to make hiring recommendations that support business goals.
- Work with Talent Acquisition leadership to identify areas for improvement to ensure high-quality service to hiring managers and candidates.
- Collaborate with Compensation to prepare the pay component of job offers.
- Develop sourcing strategies during intake meetings with hiring managers.
- Coordinate and attend college or training program sessions to educate and engage students/graduates in Brown University Health opportunities and cultivate talent pipelines at key schools.

Working Conditions
Normal office environment with some exposure to typical hospital environmental hazards.
