Senior Project Manager - Public Works

Location: Rhode Island - statewide projects, some travel to the Boston office required (few times a month)
Pay: $150,000 - $200,000+ DOE + annual bonus
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

Our client is a veteran owned GC headquartered just outside of Boston that provides full-service construction management with a focus on high-quality execution, safety, and transparency. With decades of experience across commercial, institutional, and public sectors, they pride themselves on building strong client relationships, delivering complex projects, and fostering a collaborative, mission-driven culture. They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with expertise in Public Works and Municipal Construction, to lead projects across Rhode Island from start to finish.

What you get to do:
•Manage ground-up and renovation municipal projects (schools, police and fire stations, libraries, etc.)
•Lead all project phases from preconstruction through closeout
•Serve as main point of contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors
•Ensure compliance with public sector standards, prevailing wage, and safety
•Oversee project teams, budgets, and schedules across multiple sites

What you need to succeed:
•10+ years of experience in construction project management
•3+ years of experience with public/municipal work (RI preferred)
•Strong knowledge of state/local procurement and public bid processes
•Ability to lead multiple projects and field teams concurrently
•Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
•Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar preferred
