What You Will Be Doing

• Equip Guides to lead Alpha's workshops with outstanding excellence
• Develop comprehensive Guide Playbooks outlining best facilitation practices, engaging learning activities, and strategies to overcome challenges
• Offer consistent, actionable feedback to Guides to enhance student involvement and success
• Directly mentor a select group of students, demonstrating expert coaching and motivational techniques
  
  

What You Won't Be Doing

• Creating lesson plans – your Guides drive student learning via adaptive apps; your role is to train them to be exceptional motivators
• Lowering the bar – with a passing grade of 100%, it's your responsibility to uphold that standard
• Conducting dull training sessions – you'll guide Guides through lively, hands-on, and energetic development
  
  

Principal Learning Consulting Key Responsibilities

Guide both Guides and students so every learner in your group finds joy in school, learns at twice the usual speed, and gains essential life skills. No exceptions.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Minimum of 5 years experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related fields
• Proven track record of creating and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities with the capacity to build, manage, and inspire high-performing teams
• Experience working with youth (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental roles
• Skilled in data analysis and utilizing metrics for decision-making and continuous advancement
• On-campus presence required in one of these locations: Sacramento (Folsom, CA); Orange County (Lake Forest, CA); Washington DC Metro (Chantilly, VA); Charlotte, NC; or Raleigh, NC
• Authorized to work in the US

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
