The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an experienced SAP BI professional with experience in SAP HANA Modeling, BI/BW/BW4HANA and SAC. Must have experience in Data Modeling, Data Visualizations using SAC, BOBJ, BEx, WAD, etc., ETL Processes and good analytical skills to support ongoing enhancements, operations and maintenance activities for our federal government clients.
Responsibilities:
Creation and maintenance of SAP design and technical documents as well as development, testing and validation of reporting functionality and performance. The selected SAP BI professional will participate in all phases of the Software development life cycle, including operations and maintenance (O&M) support. Expected duties include but are not limited to:
Support business intelligence system upgrades and migrations
Work in ETL processes by extracting data from multiple source systems (ECC, CRM, SRM and Supplier Self Service) to and from BW System
Use SAP SLT for Data provisioning from different sources such as ECC, SRM, and CRM and worked on HANA table enhancements using SLT LTRS
Support SAP-IP (Integrated Planning) and SAC Planning
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve production support problems including process chain and data load errors, SLT replication issues, etc. Develops and suggests alternative approaches to resolving problems
Analyze and conduct performance tuning of data extractions and reports
Adhere to BI best practices and standards to maintain stable Business Information environment
Conduct technical assessment of the issues/bugs/enhancements and develops solutions based on system and SAP standards
Perform requirements gathering and validation, solution design, report development, unit testing and authoring project technical documents for comprehensive BI solutions
Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer review of development objects
Implement advanced data modeling techniques, including but not limited to CDS Views, HANA SQL Scripts, etc.
Design, develop and implement BW/4HANA and Native HANA Solutions
Work with SAP Security Team on BW/4HANA security setup and processes
Design, develop and configure SAP Datasphere solutions, integrating with S/4HANA
Create data pipelines and workflows to support real-time and batch data processing
Participate in the analysis of the customer's business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggest process improvements and assist in level of effort (LOE) estimation
Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents
Conduct unit, integration and release testing to validate functionality
Qualifications:
Required:
U.S. Citizenship
Minimum 10 years of technical experience with multiple reporting and analytics tools and technologies including SAP BI/BW, SAP HANA Modeling, SAP Business Objects and SAC
Minimum BS/BA degree in computer science or related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (Analytics and Planning)
Experience working with BW/4HANA, S/4HANA and Datasphere
Experience with BW/BI Upgrade projects
Knowledge of standard extractors for the following functional business areas: Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, FI, CRM, SRM and SUS
Effective report performance analysis and tuning experience
Strong experience with SQL, Stored Procedures, functions and scripts, etc.
Strong experience building dashboards and models
Strong understanding and experience of migrating from traditional reporting tools to latest and advanced technologies like BW/4HANA and S/4HANA embedded analytics
Strong experience with BW/4HANA data modeling, creating ADSOs, Open DSO Views, Composite Providers and SAP query
Experience extracting data from S/4HANA using CDS Views
Strong knowledge of end-to-end business processes in cross functional areas in SAP
Knowledge of APIs, OData Services and other integration and data connectivity tools
Strong knowledge of pre-configured standard content in various tools and technologies like BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, Datasphere, etc. and experience installing and configuring standard business content
Strong ability to work individually (self-motivated), within a team environment and complete tasks
(including presentation skills)
Experience with Agile delivery methodology
Familiarity with 508 compliance and UI/UX Work Streams
Possess excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with team members, management and client organizations.
Desired:
SAP Certification in one or more of SAP BI technologies (like SAP HANA Modeling, BW/4HANA and SAC)
Migration from BW to BW/4HANA or Datasphere
Implementation of AI/ML Technologies
Knowledge of BI 2025 and Business Data Cloud
Experience working in public sector
Experience working with multiple Reporting Tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300-$189,600
