Key member of clinic, performing duties utilizing specific medical terminology and clinic procedures. Greets patients upon arrival to front desk reception area of Cancer Center. Registers new patients into medical record system. Verifies current demographics of existing patients. Answers phones, scans orders, faxing, and scheduling tests upon completion of appointment. Performs other tasks as assigned by practice manager. Participates in performance improvement activities within department and hospital. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: 2-3 years experience in medical office/hospital setting preferred. Skills and Abilities: Skills in organization and priority setting.
