Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including multi-state and consolidated returns
- Review tax returns prepared by junior staff for accuracy and compliance
Prepare compilations and reviews of financial statements
Manage, train, and mentor accounting staff
Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring expectations and deadlines are met
You should have most of the following:
- Bachelor's in Accounting (MPAc preferred)
- CPA certification (preferred) or actively working toward it
- Several years of experience in public accounting
- Strong technical skills in tax compliance and research
- Experience with financial statement preparation (compilations & reviews)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement, and CCH Axcess Document (preferred)
