Join our compassionate and skilled team as a Dental Care Assistant! You will play a crucial role in supporting our providers during treatment, ensuring our patients receive exceptional care, and enhancing the overall efficiency of our practice.

Schedule: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to the doctors by assisting with charting, patient education, and preparing and cleaning operatories.
• Enhance the patient experience through exceptional service at every stage of their appointment.
• Take and accurately process X-Rays to support correct diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain precise patient records and documentation in line with best practices.
• Ensure thorough sterilization of equipment and operatories to uphold a safe environment.
• Welcome and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to foster healthy habits.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with workplace regulations.
• Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in dental assisting.

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Reliable, organized, and able to thrive in a busy clinical environment.
• Completion of a Dental Assisting program or certification as preferred by state and practice.
• Radiology certification preferred according to state regulations and practice standards.
