Evening Child And Adolescent Outpatient Clinician

Pay: $35.00-$42.00/hour

Schedule/Location: Per Diem, Evenings, On-Site

About the Role:

Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer evening per diem child and adolescent opportunities for licensed clinicians or master's level clinicians working towards their licensure in our outpatient program in Franklin, MA. Our outpatient counseling allows our patients to receive treatment options and support within a much more free and open time schedule. While programs are structured, our outpatient counseling is best for those stepping down from a higher level of care, seeking limited treatment options or testing out treatment for the first time. Arbour offers individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, medication evaluation & management, school-based treatment, and elder services within our outpatient program. The master's level outpatient clinician delivers direct services to clients, and may provide individual, group, family, or other authorized therapy services within our outpatient center; participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning; and ensures that any treatments delivered are within the scope of the therapist's training, experience and general level of competence. Arbour provides clinicians with the ability to customize their own professional experience. We also offer a flexible schedule to accommodate work/life balance. Essential:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Support clients through collaboration with other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources
  • Individuals are responsible for managing their own schedule

Qualifications:

  • Evening availability
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related mental health field from an accredited college or university
  • Comfortability working with child and adolescent clients
  • Need to have completed an internship during masters program to obtain 45 credits
  • Required license eligibility with: LICSW, LMHC OR LMFT
  • CANS certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed)
  • Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills
  • Familiarity with support groups
  • Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds
  • Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping
  • Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
  • Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation
