Position Summary
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the IFC operating group. This position is responsible for performing month-end close activities, maintaining the general ledger, analyzing financial results, and ensuring accurate inventory valuations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Provide accounting support to field operations
  • Oversee and serve as backup for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Perform revenue and cost recognition accounting functions
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
  • Manage corporate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting
  • Perform weekly cash reconciliations
  • Maintain a strong internal controls environment
  • Support special ad hoc projects and financial analysis
Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA track preferred)
  • Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) or corporate accounting/reporting
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting rules/regulations
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel; experience with Epicor Prophet 21 is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer-facing experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English
