Shop Maintenance Person

The City of Woonsocket, Rhode Island is conducting a search for a Shop Maintenance Person. Under the direction of the Highway Division Superintendent, the successful applicant will perform tasks at the Highway Division garage maintaining and servicing all Highway Division equipment. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: records and maintains equipment usage, parts and inventory, assists with mechanical repair as needed. A high school diploma, or a GED, with two (2) years of maintenance, up-keep and repair of motorized equipment or other machinery experience. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and excel in the auto mechanic trade. Application Deadline: Friday, November 7, 2025.

Weekly Rate: $799.63 to $901.10 per week

Hours of Work: 40 Hours Per Week
