Special Education Teachers Needed

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team for the remainder of the school year in Cranston, Rhode Island. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in grades 612 within inclusive and self-contained classroom settings.

Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $45$50/hour
• Schedule: School hours
• Openings: 4 positions available

Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher will:

• Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with special needs (K12).
• Collaborate with general education staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Provide specialized instruction, academic support, and consultation services.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Available Roles:

Grades 912 (ELA/Math)

1. Inclusion/General Education Classroom
2. In-class support model
3. Certification Required: Special Education Grades 912

Grades 68 (ELA/Math)

1. Self-contained classroom
2. Certification Required: Special Education Middle School (Grades 68)
3. Additional Requirement: Severe Intellectual Disabilities Certification
