Under the general supervision of the Team Leader, Courier Services or Designee, perform a variety of duties both within and in support of the organizations Courier Service involving prompt and dependable transportation for deliveries, pickups, errands, etc. within the Southcoast Hospitals Group area. Pick-up and deliver supplies and specimens as needed. Must obey rules of the road whiling drive. Qualifications Equal to completion of four years of high school. Duties require the use of cell phones, pagers and related equipment in carrying out own position responsibilities. Require a valid Vehicle Operators License and safe driving record in order to perform Courier Service duties. Require obeying the rules of the road including driving with caution and courtesy in the operation of hospital vehicles. Require use of Southcoast or on occasion own personal vehicle in carrying out own position responsibilities. Minimum of three months experience.
