Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
As a Senior Assembler, you will interpret product build details from blueprints with minimal guidance and perform the necessary manufacturing operations to complete product assembly. This includes the setup and breakdown of tooling or fixtures required for device configuration, and ensuring each step conforms to the final product specifications.
Responsibilities
Interpret and follow blueprints for product assembly.
Set up and break down necessary tooling or fixtures for device configurations.
Perform sequential manufacturing build steps and validate each step.
Conduct resistance welding and select appropriate electrodes.
Perform TIG welding, including tooling and parameter definition.
Set up and operate pneumatic and hydraulic presses.
Set up and use production lathes, including tooling and fixture identification.
Conduct electrical testing and terminal identification.
Set up all necessary equipment.
Identify defects through visual and microscopic analysis.
Provide guidance to team members and support continuous improvement activities.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly with small components, sometimes under 5 mm in size.
Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
Capability to self-start while taking orders as directed.
Experience in working independently from setup to equipment operation.
Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
Consistent and punctual attendance with availability for assigned shifts and overtime.
Familiarity with computers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions.
Experience in cleanroom and medical device assembly, soldering, and spot welding.
Ability to work from diagrams and written instructions.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean, with shifts available from 7 AM to 3:30 PM for the first shift and from 3:30 PM to 12 AM for the second shift. The facility includes a great café and requires the ability to sit or stand as needed. Consistent and punctual attendance is essential, with a requirement to work assigned shifts and overtime when necessary.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
