Job Title: Polishing Associate
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour (based on ability and experience)
- Support all activities in the Polishing Department, including:
- Polish brass, silver, and gold parts using various polishing wheels, abrasives, and compounds.
- Inspect finished work to ensure visual quality standards are met.
- Apply different polishing techniques to achieve mirror-like finishes.
- Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
- Maintain personal responsibility for high-quality output.
- Cross-train in other departments as needed.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Familiarity with operating manufacturing machinery.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop effective working relationships.
- Ability to quickly learn and judge acceptable quality parameters.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to work within manufacturing software.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues.
- Willingness to learn from mistakes and take ownership.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
