Responsible for unloading all inbound material and supplies. To store inventory and requisition ingredients, packaging and miscellaneous supplies while abiding to all Food Safety and GMP standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Unload all inbound materials and supplies.
Store inventory and requisition ingredients, boxes of bags, packaging boxes, inserts and miscellaneous supplies.
Receive all Bulk Flour and Oil deliveries to Silos.
Sweep and clean work area.
Segregate and resolve contamination issues.
Sign off on and enter all parts, equipment, ingredients, packages and supplies into computer.
Communicate with all departments of plant.
Must be qualified to operate a forklift truck and pallet jack. Requires license.
Understands and follows all Safety processes.
May load all non-products that shipping department does not handle.
Responsible for participating in all activities set out by the company in support of the Food Safety Modernization Act.
Verify all incoming loads meet the company GMP standards.
Everyone has responsibility to support and follow our Food Safety and Food Defense programs.
Perform Food Safety Inspections on all incoming raw materials.
Enter, move and mitigate Lot Numbers in company data entry system.
Inspect and Rotate all stored ingredients weekly following the FIFO system.
Restock raw ingredients when necessary.
Repalletize ingredients when needed.
Perform weekly, monthly and yearly inventory on all raw materials and packaging supplies.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older and able to work/stand up to a maximum of 12 hours per day
Repetitive movement, bending or twisting, stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 4 hours without a break.
Bend to grasp objects and climb ladders
Bend and lift loads not to exceed 50 pounds unassisted or 100 pounds with assistance.
Work Environment:
Work in very hot temperatures (>90°F) seasonally
Work in a fast-paced position with a sense of urgency
Ability to work in a noisy environment with the possibility of being exposed to wheat and gluten via inhalation or food handling.
Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays.
Must be able to work on a variety of floor surfaces including tile and concrete.
Must be able to work alone.
Maintain a clean and safe work area as well as maintain all Food Plant GMP's at all times.
Any other associated tasks as seen necessary by managerial personnel.
Intellectual Requirements:
Active learning/listening, writing, reading and mathematics
Ability to read purchase orders, inspection forms and manifests.
Demonstrated proficiency in proper use of equipment
Computer literacy (excel, outlook, word) with the ability to learn other programs for data entry.
Ability to add, multiply and divide large numbers.
