The base pay will be determined by applicant's skills and experience and this role is also eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Note that temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may join the 401(k) program.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and monitor visitors and residents entering and exiting the building, maintaining an accurate log.
  2. Monitor the interior and exterior of the building, reporting any unusual findings to the Executive Director or authorities.
  3. Secure the premises by locking doors at designated times and performing regular checks.
  4. Stay alert and familiar with emergency and safety equipment, including cameras and life safety systems.
  5. Respond appropriately to emergencies according to established protocols, assisting during evacuations.
  6. Manage phone calls and inquiries, providing information or taking messages as needed.
  7. Escort residents and visitors to the parking area during evening hours upon request.
  8. Handle after-hours leasing inquiries accurately and efficiently for the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  9. Drive the community vehicle or bus as scheduled.
  10. Address minor maintenance issues promptly.
  11. Keep the lobby and administrative spaces clean, notifying housekeeping for any extensive cleaning needs.
  12. Interact with residents and guests in a friendly manner, offering assistance and directions as requested.

Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications and Special Requirements: Fire Safety and Basic CPR/First Aid training are required. A valid driver's license is necessary for roles involving travel or resident transportation.

Management and Decision Making: Tasks require making routine decisions following guidelines, with problems typically directed to a supervisor.

Knowledge and Skills: A basic level of skills necessary for following instructions and performing defined tasks is required.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions: This role requires standing, walking, and sitting. Additional responsibilities may require bending, climbing, or lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as occasional evening or weekend shifts. Exposure to various working conditions may be present, including communicable diseases.
