Clean Harbors is seeking a TRAVEL Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat) to operate a variety of heavy and light-duty trucks and work equipment at our customer sites. You will handle vehicles such as vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. Your role is essential in performing both driving andnon-driving duties related to hazardous waste clean-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote Health and Safety as the top priority by complying with safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
• Operate commercial trucks while assisting field laborers in a collaborative environment.
• Drive and manage various Class A trucks.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Engage in manual labor to meet customer needs at site.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT standards.
• Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and various reports.
• Follow compliance regulations and rules at local, state (provincial), and federal levels.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements.
• Follow corporate operating guidelines and environmental health and safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Be available on call for emergency responses on a rotating basis every other week.
• Participate in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
• Proficient in using various mobile devices
• Physically able to perform job requirements
• Pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination
• Comply with facial hair standards per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard for respirator use
• Willingness to travel 100% for emergency response operations as part of the TRAVEL TEAM

• Preferred:
• Commercial driving experience
• Holds Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Previous hazardous materials experience
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• Proven manual labor experience
