Scheduler

Pawtucket Falls Healthcare Center is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staffing Scheduler to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. The Staffing Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and maintaining staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage in accordance with state regulations and facility needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Previous scheduling experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
• Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Create and maintain daily and weekly schedules for nursing staff (CNAs, LPNs, RNs)
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet resident care needs and Rhode Island staffing requirements
• Coordinate call-outs, shift coverage, and last-minute staffing changes
• Communicate staffing needs with agency partners as needed
• Track attendance, overtime, and staffing patterns
• Maintain accurate staffing records and reports
• Work closely with nursing leadership to ensure compliance and efficiency
