With several marketed products and a diverse pipeline of early‑to‑late‑stage investigational assets, we aim to accelerate discovery, research, and development to bring novel therapies to patients sooner.The HRIS Manager – Workday is responsible for enabling, supporting, and continuously improving Human Capital Management solutions within Workday. This role serves as a subject‑matter expert across Workday Core HCM and related functional areas, partnering closely with HR, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure system stability, data integrity, compliance, and scalable solutions. The role balances hands‑on configuration and operational support with release management, reporting and analytics, and process optimization.Essential Functions Required for JobWorkday System Support & ConfigurationProvide ongoing support and maintenance for Workday Core HCM, including Benefits, Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation, and Recruiting.Configure and maintain Workday business processes in alignment with best practices and evolving business requirements.Support Workday Benefits events, including Open Enrollment, and compensation cycles across Core and Advanced Compensation.Reporting, Analytics & ComplianceDesign, configure, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics, including ad hoc, scheduled, matrix, and composite reports with calculated fields.Ensure reporting solutions are optimized to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.Coordinate and maintain regulatory and compliance reporting, including EEO‑1 reporting, and effectively explain results to HR and business partners.Security & Environment ManagementAdminister Workday Security, including role‑based, user‑based, and business process security.Oversee Workday testing and development environments, identifying, resolving, and escalating issues as needed.Support audit readiness and data integrity in alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.Release Management & EnhancementsLead the review, testing, and deployment of bi‑annual Workday releases, including impact assessment, coordination with stakeholders, and post‑release validation.Support system enhancements, new functionality, and implementation efforts, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.Business Process & Stakeholder PartnershipAnalyze end‑to‑end HR business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.Translate user needs into clear business requirements, functional designs, and system solutions.Partner cross‑functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors on projects and ongoing initiatives.Documentation & EnablementDocument complex process models, system configurations, and workflows.Develop and deliver functional training and job aids to support user understanding and adoption.Provide guidance and support to HR partners through problem‑solving, testing, and continuous learning.Education & Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, HR, IT, or related field with 5+ years of experience with Workday Core HCM.5+ years of experience configuring Workday Core HCM business processes and system build; extensive experience with best practices.Key Core Competencies / Knowledge and Skills (general and technical)Solid knowledge of HR systems structure, functions, and processes.Experience with Workday Security Administration.Experience with custom and standard Workday reporting including calculated fields, matrix reports, and composite reporting.Experience in Workday Benefits events, such as Open Enrollment.Experience with Workday Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent, and Performance functional areas.Experience building and testing Workday integrations and performing EIB uploads.Support for problem solving, learning, and testing solutions.Health Care Industry experience desired.Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training, and physical or mental abilities required)Workday PRO Certification in one or more functional areas.Prior Workday implementation experience (new tenant, new modules, or major enhancements).Mental/Physical RequirementsFast‑paced environment requires handling multiple demands; must exercise appropriate judgment, independence, and initiative.Excellent written and oral communication skills required.Must be able to use a personal computer for extended periods of time.Base Salary Range$120,560.00 - $150,700.00Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes merit‑based salary increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, and leaves in line with your work state. Our robust time‑off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays plus additional time off for a shut‑down period during the last week of December, 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter. Total compensation, including base salary, will depend on candidate experience, skills, education, and other factors permitted by law.Travel RequirementsPrimarily remote role with periodic on‑site meetings in office.
