Position Summary Identify and maintain sourcing for new and existing contract manufactured food products. Assuring timely delivery of finished products that meet required specifications, cost targets, and volume requirements. Act as the liaison and single point of contact between Contract Manufacturers and internal functional departments to ensure Finished Goods meet required specifications.Location This position will be either remote or hybrid based on the candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to candidates living within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey.Key Responsibilities Develops and refreshes the operating strategy for specified domestic contract operations, including detailed analysis of external manufacturers and ongoing maintenance of the sourcing pipeline for new and existing products.Works closely with other Contract Ops Account Managers and internal customers such as R&D, QA, Supply Chain Operations, and Operations Business teams to determine needed external manufacturing capabilities.Identifies outside manufacturers capable of producing required products consistent with quality, regulatory requirements, and cost parameters.Negotiates contracts that provide the best value to the company and establishes key performance indicators for each external manufacturer to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction.Responsible for developing and maintaining communication links between the external manufacturer and internal interfaces.Develops and operates from detailed project plans to insure timelines for launches and/or customer shipments are met.Identifies and shares best practices across internal and external supply chain network to improve product quality and productivity.Ensures compliance with Nestlé standards for contract manufacturers through frequent touch points and visits.Contributes to the Make or Buy analysis with inputs from respective functional areas.Conducts Annual Business Reviews with applicable Contract Manufacturing locations.Participates in annual Quality Audits at each applicable Contract Manufacturing location.Assists the Procurement team to ensure supply conformance.Experience and Education Requirements University graduate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.7+ years of food or dietary supplement manufacturing experience in supply chain, plant operations, purchasing, engineering, or sourcing/contract manufacturing.Ability to work with customers at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.Travel up to 25%.Preferred Skills Apply multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful cross‑functional projects.Manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.Develop, implement, and sustain processes.Hold Contract Food Manufacturers accountable for production supply requirements while adhering to cost expectations.Detail oriented with strong analytical and reconciliation abilities.Understand manufacturing cost drivers, analyze data, and interpret contract language.Excellent relationship management skills with external and internal constituents.Operate independently and lead activities with minimal direction.Interpret and implement technical changes (e.g., process, equipment) in a manufacturing environment.Translate Nestlé requirements into contract terms and systems.Influence partners to elevate performance against goals.Identify issues and develop action plans for resolution.Knowledge of FDA requirements for food.Pay Range Approximate pay range: $120,000.00 to $135,000.00.
