Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking Assemblers to assist in the Kent County area. Pay is $16.00 per hour, it's first-shift 8am-4:30pm, and it's temporary to permanent. Conveniently located off the highway.

Assembler Responsibilities:

• Use basic tools (screwdriver, pneumatic tools, wire snips) to make or repair parts and products

• Follow detailed verbal instructions based off technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or written instructions

• Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products

• Keep a clean and tidy workspace

• Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry

• Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures

• Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise

Assembler Requirements:

• Attention to detail
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Skilled with mechanics
• Able to speak and read basic English
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods of time (entire shift 8 hrs.)
• Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.
• Excellent attendance
• Positive attitude

Important Details:

• Pay: $16.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (some overtime)
• The assignment location is in Warwick, RI.
