Description:

Herrick & White is an AWI Quality Certified shop, that follows AWI Standards to produce premium quality millwork for almost 50 years. Please apply for our High-End Residential Millwork Estimator position if you have the experience to do the following:*Experience with High-End Residential Construction or Luxury Interior Projects* Strong understanding of wood species, veneers, finishes, hardware, and fabrication techniques* Familiarity with estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam, Excel, or ERP systems* Background in millwork engineering, drafting, or fabrication* Experience of Luxury Residential Construction Processes and Site Conditions*Office-based with occasional visits to client homes, job sites, or design studios* May involve reviewing physical samples and materials in the shopProject Review & Scope Development* Understand design intent and Estimating custom millwork for luxury residential construction projects* Quantify millwork scope from architectural drawings, interior design documents, and project specifications* Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, finishes, hardware, and subcontracted work.* and quantify materials, labor, and fabrication requirements* Estimate fine materials, accommodate complex detailing and variable site conditions* Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to confirm material costs and fabrication methods.* Develop budgets and conceptual estimates when full design documents are not available.* Maintain accurate historical cost data and estimating standards.*Prepare clear and organized proposals outlining scope, exclusions, and pricing structure.* Support project managers and engineering teams with clarifications and change orders during project startup.* Attend design meetings or project walkthroughs whenever necessary to fully understand project requirements.* Provide guidance on material selection, fabrication feasibility, and cost implications.* Ensure successful project executionLet's combine your Expertise as a Residential Architectural Millwork Estimator with our experienced Estimator/Sales team to continue to keep the pipeline full and our shop busy!other projects are sprinkled throughout New England, New York and beyond.
