Adecco Staffing is working with a growing distribution company in Auburn, MA to bring on Warehouse Pick/Ship Associates on a temp-to-hire basis. This company offers a team-oriented work environment, hands-on training, and long-term growth opportunities.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: $19.00/hour
Location: Auburn, MA
Job Duties:
· Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
· Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
· Process requests and supply orders by pulling materials and staging products for delivery
· Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, and bins according to warehouse standards
· Open boxes, crates, and containers and organize inventory
· Maintain inventory accuracy by recording materials received and distributed through warehouse systems
· Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventory audits
· Prepare parcels and packages for shipment
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
· Follow all company safety procedures and wear required safety equipment
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
· 1–2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
· Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
· Basic computer and data entry skills preferred
· Ability to accurately track inventory and complete warehouse documentation
· Dependable, reliable, and able to work independently
· Ability to lift and move 10–50 lbs regularly and heavier items when needed
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
