What You'll Do

  • Support all aspects of kitchen operations across day-to-day service and long-term planning
  • Oversee ordering, inventory, prep execution, recipe adherence, and sanitation standards
  • Assist in managing food and labor costs through smart systems and on-the-floor leadership
  • Train, coach, and develop a talented back-of-house team
  • Ensure smooth service flow and a collaborative partnership between BOH and FOH
  • Bring creative input to seasonal menu planning and innovation

What to Expect Schedule-Wise

  • This is a full-time leadership role in a high-volume restaurant, which means we work hard and stay busy. You can expect a 50–55 hour workweek, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays, especially during peak times.
  • We believe in taking care of our team, so we also build in time for rest, offer paid vacation, and close on major holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and July 4th) to ensure time with family and friends.

You're a Great Fit If You…

  • Have 2+ years of culinary experience and understand the flow of high-volume kitchen operations
  • Thrive in leadership roles and know how to motivate, mentor, and manage with respect
  • Are comfortable with scheduling, coaching, and building strong team culture
  • Can communicate clearly and respectfully across language and cultural lines - Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
  • Stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly, and take ownership of both wins and learning moments
  • Are passionate about hospitality and eager to build a long-term career in the industry

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with Toast or Restaurant365 programs
  • Bilingual fluency is a huge plus!! (Spanish/English)
