Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), medical assistant diploma from an accredited vocational institution, or a college course in medical assisting.
Experience: Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office. Experience working in a Gastroenterology practice is preferred.

Key Roles Available
- Medical Assistant/Medical Secretary - Work directly with providers and patients to support clinical care and procedures.
- Front Desk Coordinator - Welcome patients, check them in, and help ensure a smooth clinic experience.
- Pre-Certification Specialist - Obtain insurance authorizations and verify coverage for medical procedures and services to ensure timely patient care.
- Scheduler - Assist patients in booking and managing appointments with efficiency and care.

Performance Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Must have a valid automobile insurance with good driving record
- Must be able to travel between the designated region
- Knowledge of health care field and EMR systems.
- Skill in performing medical assistance tasks appropriately.
- Skill in written and verbal communications.
- Skill in understanding patient education needs by effectively sharing information with patients and families.
- Ability to learn and retain information regarding patient care practices and procedures.
- Ability to project a pleasant and professional image.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks.

- Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others.
- Entry level (1-4 years' experience) and/or meet the basic requirements of the job with the need for additional supervision.
- Excess of 4 years' experience if meeting only the basic requirements of the job with need for additional supervision.
