Westaff is looking for a Material Handler in the Warwick RI area for Immediate Start!

Location: Warwick RI

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: $20 Hour

We're looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our team.

Job Duties:

*Performs shipping, receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading duties following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as well as Machine Operating Procedures (MOP).

*Performs transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.

*Operates various warehouse equipment including but not limited to sit-down forklift, stock picker and RF scanners.

*Maintains equipment, includes performing safety checks.

*Complies with all applicable safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to the Team Leader or appropriate resource.

*Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.

*Meets established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.

Qualifications:

*Minimum 2 years of warehouse work experience preferred. *Minimum 2 years of forklift and stock picker experience preferred.

*Computer knowledge necessary, Excel, Word, Outlook, JD Edwards, and Internet.

*Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including but not limited to: UPS WorldShip, Fed-Ex, Ship Manager and LTL shipping procedures.

*Knowledge of, and ability to promote, compliance with safety policies and procedures.

*Skill in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
